BEAUTYFIX FEBRUARY 2018
Now so long ago I was whining on my Instagram that Sephora Play got too repetitive and through last years I got pretty tired of beauty boxes in general. Apparently, I truly am a beauty junkie and have no will whatsoever seeing that after unsubscribing from Sephora Play I immediately jumped to another one BeautyFix from Dermstore

REN Ready Steady Glow. I’m so excited to finally try this Daily AHA Tonic! It is powered by a combination of lactic and azelaic acid not glycolic as most other similar brightening toners. Maybe REN will be my next favorite. I’ll let you know!
Manna Kadar Glo Illuminator. I like this subtle Sheer Pink shade that brightens up my complexion with a bit of dewy finish. Unfortunately, while I tried to apply it over SuperGoop Unseen SPF40, Glo Illuminator appeared to be a little cakey and overall not very smooth. I’ll try to mix it with my foundation next time.
Lancer Lift & Plump. I was so thrilled to find this sheet mask in BeautyFix box. It is one of Lanser bestsellers, Allure Beauty winner, and altogether amazing mask packed with Vegan Stem Cell Complex, Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide and a bunch of antioxidants.
Elon Lanolin-Rich Nail Conditioner. Never heard of this brand before but I already love this thick rich cream. A small tube is a perfect fit for my purse.
La Roche-Posay Lipikar Lotion. I’ve tried almost everything in La Roche-Posay skincare including this Daily Repair Moisturizing Lotion. I loved it when I was in my early 20’s, but I have to say, it doesn’t work for me now when I’m in my 30’s. It’s just not enough. I’ll use this lotion when my skin feels irritated or extra dry.
Nick Chavez Horsetail. I don’t have an opinion yet on this Root Lifting Spray one after only one use. I doubt I’ll trade my Alterna Volume Mist for Nick Chavez.
Replenix All-trans-Retinol 3X. I started to incorporate retinol products into my skincare routine about two years ago. Aging is not fun. When I read the Smoothing Serum description, this sounded almost like holy grail with 0,3% of retinol, antioxidants, and polyphenols. However, when I applied this serum for the first time, it didn’t feel like a serum at all. It is a silicone based serum and resembles more of a makeup primer with a matte finish. Personally, I prefer different textures in skincare, and it’s borderline unpleasant to use. Mainly, knowing that this smoothing effect from all the silicone is entirely superficial.

This was February box and I already got March. It’s even better!
